Well I guess with Rafer traded :(, Brooks will now be the starter. I don't see Lowry starting over Brooks.

Management must have a lot of faith in Brooks.

    Good Luck AB.

It at least opens up the chances that Rockets will pursue some better PGs.

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THERE IS A GOD!

Now we have 2 good young PG's and a player that can shoot the 3. Wow we are having an extreme makeover.

    It's about damn time!

    That's all i gotta say.

We have a duo of young PGs who can play. I am happy. We also have something in the way of Charlie Villanueva (who the Rockets wanted) in Brian Cook. We kept Artest, who we need in T-Mac's absence. I give the trade a "B". Sure, I was hoping that we'd get Vince Carter, but Rod Thorn isn't stupid.

Does this mean Tmac has agreed to give up the surgery? Otherwise, it doesn't make sense. We need a playmaker.

Hope so. This is a good move. Rafer thinks too much before making a move - Brooks just makes his move.

The record with Brooks as the starter is VG.

Brian Cook probably won't even see the court.

I'd rather have Rafer over Lowry but oh well hope the move works out.

I remember being interested in Cook for the Rockets (PF that shoots 3's seemed like a good idea with Yao a few years ago) Didn't he mess his thumb up though? Something grotesque iirc.

Lowry will be even better with the 2nd unit, because of his penetration and finishing skills. AB is better with the 1st unit, because when he started with the 1st team, he shot it very well (5 game win streak)
