I am in the Beaumont area and just called Time Warner to get the League Pass. They told me that all Rockets games are blacked out on League Pass. This didnt sound right because I am like 100 miles away from Houston - anybody know if it is true?
I haven't checked myself, but I've heard that from other fans on this board, so I assumed it was. Basically, we're completely screwed this season, with the exception of the national TV games. There's no deal with FSSW. There were supposed to be some games on Ch. 18 (they actually released a schedule), but the Dec. 21 Minnesota game, which was on that schedule, wasn't televised. So, I'm assuming that list is bull**** as well. And the joke is that we can't even get it on the radio either. AM 1450 carried a couple of games in November, but then for whatever reason stopped. Yet, they still advertise every single day that they have the Rockets games, even though they don't. You'd think the Rockets would care about a market so close to the city with over 100,000 people, but apparently not.
yes, that is true. I did order the League pass one time from Direct TV without knowing that all the Rockets are blacked out, even away games, So I had to talk Direct TV to explain the situations, (that I only want to see the Rockets) and they let me cancel it….
What !? You live in Oklahoma and you get all the Rockets games! I have Cox Cable in Eastern Texas and I have got zip!
AM 1450 says they had a technical problem that forced them to use the equipment that was used to broadcast the Rockets games for some other purpose. Hopefully they will get that fixed soon. I had to put up with Time-Warners crap for most of the Dallas Cowboys season, now it looks like it will be the same with the Rockets. A league pass should get every game for every team!
A league pass should get every game for every team! [/QUOTE] [/B] Please tell that to the Rockets! It's all about money, not about FAN!........that's a shame!!!
