Yes, kinda ghey, but stupid fans don't make win championships...I would like the Colts as I think Peyton has a lot to prove and Rex, well, the D can't win them all...
I have no problem with that. A shirt that says **** the eagles is an insult to the team and only the team which is the point of those signs. An insult about Katrina isn't just an insult to the team but also the city of New Orleans. It's a mockery of a ton of suffering and misery that happened there. I'm sure tons of people would wear shirts that said something like **** the cowboys or mavericks.
If every team that has a fan who at some point does something idiotic/insulting/despicable deserves to lose...well, there would be no winning teams.
Yeah, I mean this is akin to making a joke about the great chicago fire a year after it happened. Really poor taste. Go colts.
Will there ever be a point in time where someone can make a comment about Katrina without having to have sad music playing in the background? I'm estatic that the Saints lost just for this very reason. I don't know if I could stand to hear two weeks plus of everyone jerking off New Orleans. Katrina sucked. We understand. I'm sorry that I'm tired of hearing the sob story.
You're posting this on a board that thinks it's ok to laugh at the misfortune of others, because that's how some deal with these things.
Well, you're still posting here. What does that say about you? Personally, I find the sign in bad taste, but I'm not going to pick a team I'm rooting for because of this. Had they played that game in Philly, there'd be a similar sign. Same for any city in America.
I feel the same way as you. It's in bad taste, but it just shows one jackass. Yep, I'm still here averaging a whopping 2 post per day, with a grand total of 3685 posts since 2002. What can I say...I must be addicted.
What about Go Colts (only because it'd be cool to say we beat the Super Bowl champs...12 yards better than the Titans did! )?
I'm with ya. I donated some money. I had people I know seriously affected by it. I also think the sign was in very poor taste...but enough is enough.
