The threat is horrendous either way.

 

@HROZ might be right that Jones may as well be a democrat as the threat was made a day after a meeting where Palmer tried to subvert election proceedings where Dems had the upper hand. There is of course a chance that Jones was a republican upset with Palmer not following through with the the original intent of stalling the procedural vote.
