Kam, you dont always get what you want. i'm trying to teach you a valuable life lesson here. help me help you.
you mean you want me to make an effort? PSSSSSSHHH>LSA<>>A.. eF that ****. -0--- basically, it's going to be who ever wins between OSU and UM vs Southern Cal. So Cal has some big games vs Oregon, UCLA, and Notre Dame left, but all at home. I think WVU has Louisville left?
Those rankings can't be right because everyone after 8 has 0 in the cpu%. It also says USC is number one according to the computers. I don't think the real bcs rankings aren't out yet
personally, i think USC loses at least one game this year, maybe two.... they're just not that good. no #2 team should have to scrape out a win against arizona freakin' state at home! oregon, ND, and Cal all have a solid shot. things can get real hairy, that's for sure. but it seems like it's like that every year around this time. Texas at 9 is a joke though.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/ncaa/polls/bcs/ same thing.... a freaking 1.000 computer ranking for USC! i dont think the computers know that bush, leinart, and white all left after last season.
Those can't be right. No way the computers have Texas THAT low. I'm not saying they should be in the top 2 or 3 but come on.
How the hell does texas have such an absurdly low computer ranking. .390?!? WTF.. west virginia which has played a bunch of scrubs and a grand total of ZERO ranked teams has a higher computer average. Meanwhile texas played Ohio State and OU and we end up with a worse ranking with the computers. And furthermore, how the hell does LSU have a .180 computer ranking but effing Tulsa has .190 computer ranking.
it's stupid how the comps have USC rated so high. either way...USC will lose a game or 2. they just aren't that good. and WTFs go out to Auburn, Notre Dame, and Louisville. I guess that convincing win over cincy helped them out. these rankings basically mean texas is pretty much officially eliminated from going to the championship game again. our chances were slim but we had a chance if OSU won out. now they are almost 0.
Supposedly, the Sagarin rankings that use margin of victory have Texas at number 2. Unfortunately, the BCS computers cannot use margin of victory.
With the PAC-10 whooping up on the Big 12, USC will be very strong in the computers if they don't lose. The computers didn't see that Oregon won due to bad calls. Hell, most of the voters pretend that Oregon outplayed OU. UT is basically 4e in the BCS. 4 through 11 are tighlty packed. I expect UT will probably settle in at 4th in the BCS if they win out.
West Virginia #5?? I am dumbfounded as well. Take a look at who West Virginia has played and beaten: - Marshall: 1-5 record (only win was versus... Hofstra) - Eastern Washington: 2-5 record (wins versus Montana St. & N. Colorado) - Maryland: 4-2 record (wins versus Williams & Mary, Midd. Tenn. State, Florida International & Virginia) - East Carolina: 2-4 record (wins versus Memphis and Virginia) - Mississippi State: 2-5 record (wins versus UAB and Jacksonville State) - Syracuse: 3-4 record (wins versus Illinois, Miami (OH), and Wyoming) So, West Virginia has only beaten ONE team with a winning record. Not only that, they haven't beaten ANYONE in the Top 25 (or even played a team in the Top 25). Heck, the teams they've beaten haven't won against any Top 25 teams, either. So, how exactly is West Virginia #5 in the BCS again with a computer % of .460? It's just too mind-boggling to fathom.
