Honestly, I do not think Texas is the No 2 team after tonight's and last week's performance. They gained quite a few yards on penalties on that last drive and still won on the last second on a review (completely legit ruling). But Alabama showed they are number one with their domination of the Gators.

Still, Texas better not play like this against Bama because it will be over fast.

If Texas's run defense is as good as it was tonight, Alabama will be in trouble.

If both teams play anywhere close to the way they played today, Texas will get embarrassed.

Wow, two of my favorite teams are meeting in the championship. It's hard to pick who to root for - I am obligated to Texas because I went there, but since I live in Alabama now and usually support them, I won't be too upset if (probably, when) Texas loses.

I paid 115 each for Alabama ones about a month ago, texas was at like 300 at the time.

Glad alabama pulled it off for me, but even happier Texas won!

Let's see....One team just completely dominated the top college football program over the last 4 years and the other team just scraped by against a Nebraska team with no pulse of an offense.

No matter what the line is on this game, take Alabama and run.

Oh the irony of some Texas fans.

    Complaining about haters.

And now suddenly buying into a win is a win.

Congrats to the other Longhorn fans though. FWIW, I really do believe a win is a win. And you've got a month to game plan. Anything can happen. I've got to root for my SEC brethren though.

Alabama almost lost to Tennessee and didn't look too good against Auburn last week.

    anything can happen.

both teams have a lot of time to prepare for the game

Alabama by ten and if Texas plays like they did tonight, which I doubt they will, Tide by twenty-five. Texas has not impressed, Alabama has, though to be fair, they did struggle somewhat against Auburn and Tennessee. But against the number one defense in the nation today they were dominant.

In a playoffs, TCU wins it all. Hey Horns, any stadium, any time; how else will you ever know for sure!

Bama hardly beat a unranked Aubrun and struggled to beat a Tenn and South Carolina team , its college football **** happens.
