Lord, I got some pictures back that someone took of me this weekend and my forehead is so shiney you can almost see your reflection!

So what do you guys use to wash your face (besides regular soap, which I do) to take care of oily skin? And how often do you use it?

I get that too, and it has a lot to do with your diet. If you eat a healthy, low fat, low sodium diet for a couple days leading up to your pics, it should clear up fairly well.

Neutrogena makes a mens face wash. I use that. Clean and clear makes a good face wash as well.

Remembering to wash your face before you go out is a big help. Many people just do it in the morning and think that is enough to last all day.

The Lab Series products are great. They have a set of products specifically for oily skin. Macy's in the galleria sells it (the old Foley's location).

My old high school french teacher used to rub alcohol on her forehead.

I didn't like her very much, and I often wondered if someone lit a match next to her forehead, would it set her on fire.

A touch of powder might help. This is the stuff that Live TV personalites have put on them for the same reasons. if your to embarrased to buy powder go to your girlfriends make up box and take some. It should be in a small circle container about 1" thick. Powder lightly though. I cant stress this enough. otherwise you'll get pancake face. If you choose to put on any other of your girls makeup products I will not be held accountable.

Those are actually bad for you, cause you remove oils that are essential to your skin.

You should pretty much wash your face at least twice a day, and if your face gets dry in some other parts, use a face moisturizer that's labeled non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

Well, I -- I've had a few zits. Um, but my roommate, he lent me his Clinique because he's from --

"The History of My Skin," by Charles Simms. You patronizing me, peewee ? Hmm ? You givin' me that old prep school palaver ? Baird School ! A bunch of runny-nosed snots in tweed jackets...all studyin' to be George Bush.
    Well...

I believe President Bush went to Andover, Colonel.

You sharpshootin' me, punk? Is that what you're doin' ? Don't you sharpshoot me!

First of all, u shouldnt wash your face with regular soap. It strips your face of its natural oils then your skin over-produces to compensate. I use Purpose Gentle Cleaning wash, its made by Johnson and Johnson and is Dermatologist Recommended. It leaves ur face clean without feeling dry, and the best part, its only $3 or $4 at Walmart or Target. Then follow up with a lotion thats non-comedogenic like someone else said. If that doesn't help, try the quick fix of make up. Many guys have asked to use my compact powder to clear up shinyness. Don't be embarassed.

    Not so fast...

Once you tame the shine, where does one buy a fine nose hair trimmer?

You don't have to be a metrosexual to take care of your skin.

This is what I use every day and I love it.
