    Okay, I am giving you until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, December 8 to vote on these 2 matchups. The final 2 will be announced sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning. The final will then take place on Monday and voting will last til Thursday.

    Here are the match-ups to vote on:


    DCkid vs. VesceySux
    Refman vs. drapg

    Normally, this is when I would say, "My votes are as follows:...".

    However, I want to say that this is without a doubt the hardest 2 match-ups that I have ever had to vote on.

    DCkid has proven to me since day one that he is one of the best posters here and I can easily see myself giving him a vote. However, VesceySux (who has to reveal himself now!) seems like a kindred spirit to me. Maybe it is the Delerium/Enigma, the Simpsons, or crazy posts/threads like Asimov/Will Smith (that was great, I just didn't know what to add to it!). Also, I voted for Vescey over Pued, someone that I highly respect . Using all of this, I have to vote for VesceySux .

    The other matchup is even tougher. A week ago, I would have said drapg. After all, there is no one here who is more of a sports nut than him. And he is like DCkid in that his posting style is one of the best. I honestly thought that he would win this thing (and I still do).

    Yet, Refman has really struck a chord with me of late. Maybe it is his advice in my dating thread, but a quote like "quit letting yourself get mind****ed" is absolutely brilliant! He is also someone that I think really and sincerely wants the best for people here. I'm not saying that drapg or anyone else isn't that way, but Refman has made himself to be the most personal poster on this BBS and to me, that is pretty damn impressive.

    So, in a (mild) upset, I am voting Refman over drapg in the other matchup.

    I think the biggest upset is that W&S isn't in the running. I wonder why W&S hasn't posted since 11/20? I guess windandsea likes being stuck on 999 posts.

    BTW...thanks for the kind words Manny. I do care a lot about people, especially when they are going through something like what you are going through...I have been there.

    I do try to be a nice and caring guy...rabid conservatism notwithstanding. :)

    I've avoided some earlier actions, but I decide to join this hard one. These are indeed tough choices. If RockHead is still in the running (was he ever?), I have to vote for him, simply for the play-by-play he does so arduously for us.

    I can't do this...not because of all the great qualities they equally bring to the bbs, but because they all suck in their own way....

    DCkid resurrects dead forums that we were all happy to be rid of...

    VesceySux can't figure out what to do with his damn fantasy football team...

    Refman is too freakin' old....

    drapg is a ruthless racist.

    So if you could kindly deduct 1 vote from each of their tallies, Manny, I would appreciate it.

    I seriously didn't think I had a shot to advance this far. Thanks to all who've voted for me.

    I'm gonna have to go with ME (really, I'm not narcissistic) and DRAPG. Drapg just seems similar in demeanor to me. Very tough choice, though.
