This show is not to be confused with the new Fox show Utopia which starts next month. I am talking about this show: A generic Wiki-description of the plot: It's a very stylized, exceedingly violent show. I just realized the 2nd Season ("Series") is airing currently on the BBC so I'm binge watching it.
I don't know of a legal way to watch the show. I don't think it's ever been available on Amazon Prime/Netflix, but it may within the next year. David Fincher, who also adapted House of Cards, will be adapting the show for HBO. It's great! I recommend it to everyone who can handle the gore.
Just watched the first episode. Thought it was really, really good. I'll definitely keep on watching.
Just watched a few. It was alright. The repetitive ultra violence intended to shock gets old. I also get a Lost feeling, where the show runners have no idea what the ending is and are just throwing out clue after clue with no idea where the story goes.
http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/utopia/season_1.html There might be better streaming sites out there, but this one usually lets me find links that don't have unbearably poor-quality episodes.
I have read similar criticisms about the violence. In regards to the plot -- the 2nd Season is rather straightforward (or as much as you would hope in a drama). The show starts to be less of a mystery and is more focused on exploring motivation.
