I will be the first one to admit that The Beatles are the better band - possibly the GOAT. However, I am voting for Floyd because they are MY all-time favorite band. Granted they are going to get their ass kicked in this final, but they get one vote from me.
Since we are posting pics..... I want to take this time to thank all of those who participated. It was fun and the banter didn't get too out of hand. I want to do this next year and make it an annual event, with a couple of things a little bit different from this one: 1) There will be a "committee" that will decide on the field just like the real NCAA tournament. No doubt that this will be the hardest part as compromises will have to be made on who gets in and the seedings. This year's version was sorta done on the fly and impulsively and as a result, some bands were probably not seeded properly. The goal for next year and beyond is to try to seed bands better than the process used this year - thus the need for a committee. 2) The winner of this year's event is automatically retired and ineligible for next year's event. I think it would get boring if "Band A" - whether it is the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. won every year. If the Beatles win this year, then they will be "retired". Whoever wins next year will also get "retired" and so forth. That is all I can think of for now - but probably won't be the last for this thing

Like I'm gonna vote for the most overrated band ever. I'm just happy Stones didn't make it too then I couldn't vote at all. Pink Floyd.
