The Cowboys better win because it's possible the Packers will finish at 15-1. If they meet again in the playoffs, Green Bay would have a HUGE home field advantage in January. I think the Cowboys will take this one and set up an NFC championship game rematch in Dallas, which I would rate a tossup.

Romo looked quite shaky early on against the Jets. If he has the yips against the Packers it will be 14-0 before they can blink. If Romo is on, the Cowboys are the better team. The Packers can't run the ball and Favre will get knocked around.

If they wanted people to see the game, maybe they shouldn't have put it on the NFL Network.

is DishNetwork showing the game? I really hope so because I really really need to watch that game..

if Dish is indeed showing the game, I will be one of the happy people that switched from comcast's trashy service to the good stuff on Dish Network (even though Dish keeps going out when it's storming)

Bob Ryan, the Vice President and editor-in-chief of NFL Films, coined this for the Cowboys in 1979. After preparing and editing the team’s 1978 season highlight film he had to come up with a title for the film. He was quoted as saying:

"After the '78 season, the Cowboys had just lost a crushing Super Bowl to the Steelers. I wanted to come up with a different twist on their team highlight film. I noticed then, and had noticed earlier, that wherever the Cowboys played, you saw people in the stands with Cowboys jerseys and hats and pennants. Plus, they were always the national game on television."

During the Cowboys' first game of the 1979 season, a nationally televised game against the St. Louis Cardinals (which Dallas won 22-21), the television announcer introduced the Cowboys as America’s Team and the nickname stuck.

    ...with all Dallas fans.

For Dallas and Dallas fans to claim themselves as "America's Team" demonstrates the overwhelming conceited attitude of Dallas and personifies the reason that the rest of the world hates Dallas.

    Dallas is crap.
    Dallas has always been crap.
    Dallas will always be crap.

    You can't win, Dallas.

No matter how many superbowls you win.
No matter how many NBA finals you (don't) win.
    You'll always be pathetic crap.
You are pathetic crap because you make yourselves pathetic crap.

The "America's Team" garbage demonstrates it.

i remember a few weeks back people were totally disregarding the packers and i got 'overly excited' about them because they 'only beat the vikings', albeit 34-0.

here we are now, both our teams at 10-1. it's gonna be a good one. let's get it on.

Tell me about it. I hope the cable networks take the NFL Network and shove it down Goodell's throat. The NFL Network is yet another cash grab by the NFL that will be passed on to the public in some shape or form. I hope it fails miserably.

NFL Network: 6 regular season games, and the rest of the season is crap. I'd rather not pay up for it. I'll just go to sportsbar on Thursday.

Tony Romo is NOT a young Brett Favre.

You know who Tony Romo is?

    A young Jeff Garcia.

Seriously, their play style is so similar its not even funny.

Throwing mechanics.. scrambling abilities.. pocket presence... and they both kinda look gay, too.
