    A swipe at T-Mac?
    Houston Rockets forward Shane Battier likely will miss the rest of the regular season with a knee injury, but he made certain to join his teammates at their road game on Tuesday in Memphis.

    "I'm here to support my guys," Battier told the Houston Chronicle. "I don't want to be the guy who's not around when he's hurt."

    That could be interpreted as a swipe at former Rockets teammate Tracy McGrady, who endured microfracture surgery last season and then had a messy parting of the ways this season before McGrady was traded to the New York Knicks

    I don't think it's a shot at anyone one particular player. He just doesn't want to be one of "those guys" who sits home.

    Battier probably doesn't have anything else to do, so might as well travel with the team. I doubt he really hates Mac enough to take a verbal shot at him at this point.
    As far as Yao, he travels like a mother....one day he is spotted in China, the next back in the U.S.

    I think the writer is taking a swipe at Tmac and using Battier's words to do that. Battier's always been there for the team during injuries regardless.

    BTW, why doesn't Battier wear that awesome red Rockets sports coat anymore?
