Before Shane leaves practice he must make 10 free throws in a row before he allows himself to go home. After he makes the 10 he keeps going just to see how far he can go. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/10/29/shane-battier-is-a-machine/
wow. lol i thought this was a normal van gundy routine. Having to make ten free throws in a row before leaving practice?
Being a high level amateur means working at something until you get it right. Being a professional means working at something until you can't get it wrong. As a musician, I use this technique all the time. I don't leave anything until I've played it correctly at least 5 times in a row without any mistakes. If I make one mistake, I start all over again. Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.
I hope T-mac is staying at practice long enough to see what Battier is doing. If anybody on that team needs to practice free throws its T-MAC!!!!!!
Damn did you see him hittin' the fre throws last night I mean with Spurs. He looked like he was gonna make 130 in a row
T-mac needs to stop putting his feet a foot behind the free-throw line as it has dramatically affected his shooting. Also free throws are more accurate with proper knee bending mechanics to get a good bounce and rhythm to the shot. Both T-Mac and Lebron have the same problem, they use the end of the heel rather than the knee to create lift.
I think I made 3 in a row once. I saw something on tv once that showed the guy getting the world record. I think he made like 1000 in a row or something. Did anyone else see this and remember the number?
