Wife's making me update the bathroom. Anyone know places in town where you can go look at sinks/toilets/bathroom tile? Stupid stuff like that. Other than Lowe's and Home depot. She didn't like most of the stuff at those 2 joints.

That Design Expo place on Westheimer closed down. The stuff there was pricey, but you could find different stuff. We just need new ideas

For flooring, there is a floor depot (or something like that) between the beltway and 610 on the southside.

I hope you're not doing it yourself. I'm in the middle of remodeling a bathroom right now and it's a lot of work. I did the upstairs bathroom before that too.

You save a lot of money but man it's painful.

You should look into specialty granite shops if you are looking at granite tiles or counters. Lowe's and Home Depot's selection is pretty limited.

For the house I am building, I got all of my flooring from Floor & Decor (I-45 N near 1960). Largest selection in town. I got 16"x16" ceramic tile for $99 each.

For plumbing fixtures, by them on Ebay or another online wholesaler. Youll save 40% going that rought. You can get some nice Kohler fixtures for $200-$300.
