Also states the Rockets are interested in Austin Croshere, which most of you know by now, is indeed true.

Judging by the college players they’ve worked out in the past week or so, it seems doubtful the Rockets plan to make a serious pitch to move up toward the top of the June 28 draft. Houston currently holds the No. 9 pick, and it’s yet to work out any player—save, perhaps, for Minnesota center Joel Przybilla—who’s considered to be a top-five type. Florida’s Mike Miller, Michigan State’s Morris Peterson and UCLA’s Jerome Moiso have been in, as have slightly lower-tier types Etan Thomas of Syracuse, Chris Porter of Auburn and Marquis Gainous of Texas Christian. All but Przybilla are forwards, perpetuating the belief among insiders that the team will use the ninth pick on a versatile forward who can run the floor with Steve Francis, Shandon Anderson and Cuttino Mobley. As for the prospect of moving up, Rockets vice president Carroll Dawson says: "We’re always trying to work on it. But people don’t give up those picks." … We hear the Rockets are very interested in Indiana Pacers forward Austin Croshere, who will be a free agent this summer.

so you're saying Croshere was the mystery man all along? Sounds good....anyone from the other side tugging on the rope?

Hate to ask several questions, but will someone from cc.net tell us how Moiso and Miles' workouts go? (I'm especially interested in Moiso, as he's got a load of talent), and do you have any idea on who else will be working out for Houston (Olumide Oyededji?)

You got to wonder sometimes where they "hear" some of this stuff.
