Yeah, lol I know that. But I mean players kids that are maybe 11 and up. I have no problem with that.

I don't know; I guess I can see reasons both for them being there and for them not being there. When Selig gets done with this though, I'd be really surprised if any kids other than the bat boys are in the dugout.

After this and all the talk of strikes and the pettiness of some of the players, I have all but given up on pro baseball. I'll stick to watching the people who play for the love of the sport...anyone not getting paid for it.

That's too bad -- I kindof liked having the kids down there. I'm bothered more by the fact that baseball just seems to be so heartless and uncaring. First the fines for the player putting the DK on his hat, and now this. Go ahead and do something for safety or something, but they just seem like such total a-holes the way they are presenting it.

If Bud Selig had his way, the only people at games would be millionaires in closed boxes while the players went through the motions totally unenthusiatically on the field.

When I saw Selig presenting the trophy, I couldn't help but feel disgust for him. I think the players were probably thinking the same thing -- I'm surprised that the fans weren't booing him.

Why don't we let them stay in the dug out, but lock them up in a protected pen so they can't get hurt. Problem solved. It's a win win. This is not rocket science.

That DK thing was one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Most of the time I don't agree with Selig, but I don't think that having the kids in the dugout is all that great of an idea. It kind of shocked me to turn on the tv and see all of them in there.
