    - Shortstop moves back several feet to also play 4th outfielder.

    - Ken Griffey the 6th wins batting title.

-It is discovered that Barry Bonds was a mutant.

-The first exhibition games are played on international space station.

A player cloned from Ted Williams frozen DNA becomes the 1st player to hit .400 in over 150 years.

Outfields wear shoes with rockets in them, making it easier to turn home runs into outs.

George Steinbrenner VII of the New York/Albany/Buffalo Metro-Yankees raised his annual payroll a MLB record 112th year in a row, now totaling $8.73 billion, just $6 billion over the newly adjusted salary cap. Drew Henson VI is still trying to make it with the team, also having been drafted by the NFL's latest expansion team, the Bastrop Bears.

The Detroit Tigers break their own record by going 1-161

The Cubs and the Red Sox, both trying for their first World Series titles since 1908 and 1918 respectively, are both denied after a comet comes crashing down on Chicago moments before game 7, thus destroying the earth

After the new commissioner lowers the salary to $10,000 per year for every player, cancels the all star game in honor of Sadam Hussein's birthday, and funnels all of baseball's profits to fund his own personal child p*rnography network, he's still voted by fans as baseball's second worst commissioner of all time, still ahead of Bud Selig...

The still homeless Expos agree to play 40 home games on uncolonized Mars. Then those games still draw more fans than they draw in Montreal.

Clone this and clone that. Bring back Harry Carey or at least clone Will Ferrell to impersonate him. :)

In 2103 - Umpires will still be big fata$$es and we will have instant replay.

Would a 4th Ted Williams clone joke be overkill?

We will have Designated Designated Hitters to hit for those designated hitters that are too old and fat to go up to bat 4-5 times a game.
