Has anyone heard anything about Barry and Deke? Does anyone else think the silence mean something is in the works. Maybe were waiting on Dallas to cut Finley and see what hes asking before we sign Barry or maybe were trying to put together a S&T. Dam Rockets front office and their secrecy. Any insiders feel like shedding some light on this? It would be highly appreciated!
Deke and Barry will be back. We will resign Barry regardless of whether we get Finley or not. I'd like Finley to start and Barry off the bench, but after what Finley did to him in the playoffs I don't know if they'll get along. We will resign Deke because we have no back up center.
I don't see why they wouldn't get along just because Finley tortured him in last year's playoffs. However, if that was the case then you always sign the better player. If Barry and Finley were available for similar money, I'd take the former all-star in a heartbeat. Finley is a starter, Barry is not.
I've heard a lot of stuff in my 13 years, and until I sign on the dotted line, who knows what might happen?
