Can someone who watches NO basketball or just know the answer in generall.. explain to me how can B. Davis be averaging like 10 3pt attempts per game!
what kind of offense allows or requires the pg to shoot 10 3s each game??

and make 1 or 2 of them...

Does davis even takes a midrange jumper?
or he just either drive.. dish.. or shoot 3???

and he is a horrible free throw shooter... this is just bizarre.

As a fantasy owner of B. DAvis, he is driving me insane.. if he just shoots 4 less 3pters each game.. he will be ave about 45% shootings. It will really help since I also have Carmelo who just can't stop taking shots.

HE is killing your fantasy league? Hell he makes up his FG% with 3pointers made, steals, points, and assists. Last week, he made like 10 3pts, and he usually averages around 10 3s a week. Plus its basically in Charlotte's offense. Wesley and Armstrong also take a boatload of 3s.

Looks like you just need to forget trying to win fg% with that team. The good outweighs the bad by far. It's hard to find a player with only 1 or 2 weaknesses. AK47 is one of the few i can think of with no weaknesses whatsoever.

I'm not saying that he should continue and take ill advised 3pointers, but NO has won a lot of games. And as long as they keep winning he should continue shooting.... I got him in my fantasy team to, and he has a poor fg %, and it's frustrating. But NO are winning a lot of games. (even though they were blown out by the clippers) :p

I don't know how you can complain about BD's stats. In Yahoo he's #1; considering the fact that in all the leagues I was in he went no higher than 4th round, that's a GREAT steal.

He takes 3s because the Hornets are, I believe, a perimeter team. Like Dave2000 said, they also have Wesley and Armstrong who sit on the perimeter and jack it up. And I guess he doesn't take midrange jumpers because they're too close to FTs...
Speaking of which, the league SUCKS at FT. There are so many people in the 60s...what is up with that? FUNDAMENTALS!

As a fantasy player, you should be more than happy that Davis has the most three point shots made in the league, by alot.

I think we need to trade baron now..

New Orleans trades: PG Baron Davis (24.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 8.6 apg in 40.8 minutes)
New Orleans receives: C Kurt Thomas (11.7 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 2.3 apg in 35.5 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -12.6 ppg, +5.6 rpg, and -6.3 apg.

New York trades: C Kurt Thomas (11.7 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 2.3 apg in 35.5 minutes)
New York receives: PG Baron Davis (24.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 8.6 apg in 19 games)
Change in team outlook: +12.6 ppg, -5.6 rpg, and +6.3 apg.

    TRADE <s>DECLINED</s> ACCEPTED

Thinking about it more, I think you guys make a good point... baron did far more good then he did wrong in the fantasy basketball arena.
and when mashburn comes back, he should shoot much better.
