What the hell is up with all the Baron Davis ads for the Sept 11 bombing? I am only posting this in this forum, because I am pissed that Francis is not getting the national exposure. On NBA pass, Baron seems to be getting more ads than Vince Carter!!! What the hell is up with this? is the NBA trying to lay out the red carpet for Davis!!! perhaps to make the all star team? I have only seen Francis maybe twice this entire season, and have seen Davis probably 25+ times during Rocket games (thats more than webber, carter, etc...). I watched another NBA team the other day, and their was Davis again with about 3 ads during the match? Davis is not even the best player on the Hornets? Are these ads on local Houston stations?, or just NBA pass? Are these the same NBA executives that wanted Davis in the Goodwill games?
All the players have those ads. I think they are shown completely randomly. It gets very old after a while. The message is nice, but not 3 or 4 times per commercial break. I've seen one of those commericals with steve in it... Baron is a much more articulate speaker than steve, steve seemed so artifical in his commerical.
