Barkley talks briefly on Kenny Smith and "the bet." (Real Audio)

Sounds like he intends to pay up. Should be hilarious. Also read that Kenny(Smith) has went into semi-hiding and turned off his cell phone to prevent Charles from contacting him to try and make a deal to worm his way out of the bet. Said he's already recieved 1 call from the Phoenix area code where Charles lives. Wonder who that was? LOL

 

The Chuckster briefly discussed the bet on the Dan Patrick show yesterday. Apparently it started with an off-camera discussion, and the favor offered was rather different. (Jim Rome might describe as a "blow vacation.") The discussion ended, they got back into positions, got their cues, and the cameras came back on. Kenny then ambushed Charles with the first words on air being "What would you just say you would do if Yao Ming scores nineteen?" Charles, obviously not able to repeat himself, came up with the "kiss your ass" line as the first "television acceptable" thing he could think of.
