Charles shot a 295 at the Celebrity Golf Tournament, which was 79 over par for 73rd place. He shot rounds of 107, 94, and 94. I knew Charles was a horrible golfer, but 79 over par?!?!? BTW, he wasn't even the worst golfer, Kevin Nealon finished with a 327 for 111 over par Sorry if this was already posted before, I just heard about this. ------------------ "I look kind of dumpy. Horrible compared to who? Those scores are your basic duffer's numbers. I would be happy with the 94s, bit then again, I am a horrible golfer as well. ------------------
He had to have done that on purpose. I've never golfed one time in my life, but I bet I could shoot a 295 if you just gave me a putter and sent me out there.
I know you could. The first time I ever went golfing in my life, I shot a 283, and Barkley's been golfing for a long time. Now, I shoot around the 240s-250s, which isn't to shabby. ------------------ "I look kind of dumpy. Look at my butt. And what kind of shoes do they have me wearing? I'm pretty good at the windmill hole, but that damn clown's mouth gets me EVERY time... tree falling in the woods tree falling in the woods tree falling in the woods tree falling in the woods tree falling in the woods ------------------ Mein bratwurst has a first name, it's F-R-I-T-Z Mein bratwurst has a second name, it's S-C-H-N-A-C-K-E-N-P-F-E-F-F-E-R-H-A-U-S-E-N
Averaging double-bogey golf is shooting 106-108 per round. No way you average double-bogey's with a putter. You will eventually get frustrated with your lack of distance and pull out another club. Then you will hit a good shot once, and say wow, that is so cool, and your endorphines will give you a little tickle. Then you will start swinging harder as your seek your next high. Soon, you will not be able to resist pulling out the Big Bertha driver to try desparately to reproduce that one glorious (yet elusive) shot you had that you keep telling everyone about. Then you will get a Birdie once, and you will never be the same again. You will start yanking your body with a Big Bertha with utter disregard for your body form, deteriorating scores, and your diminishing social skills (******* that ball..."Brian <insert middle name> Kagy, what did I tell you about cussing"). You are a hacker who lives for that next 300 yr drive and that elusive Eagle you once had. You are a double-bogey golfer, because you routine shoot 10s while trying for birdies. I have shot under 90 only once. But I bet I get as many birdies as you! It is so said, like watching Barkley yank his body at the tee.
Caught a glimpse of his swing on TV...without a doubt the worst I've ever seen. Incredibly he still loves it. Don't know how anyone that well coordinated could be that bad!!
His score was over 3 rounds (54 holes) which brings his average per hole score to less than 5.5 strokes per hole. ------------------
Yeah, I knew that Bobrek. I play 72 holes when I go golfing. I was comparing my scores after 3 rounds to Barkley's. Sorry if it was unclear. ------------------ "I look kind of dumpy. Look at my butt. BrianKagy, I don't mean to be impolite, but I think either you have an exceptional talent in golf, or you miscalculated your first golf experience. If you count all the OBs, penalties and strokes that hit nothing but air, I don't think a first time golfer can go 295 for 54 holes, let alone 283. (I doubt a first time golfer knows how to count the stroke correcly in the first place.) If you can do that, please publish a book for all newbies. It is perfectly normal for a 1 year experience golfer to have Barkeley's numbers. ------------------

Usually in 2-3 days. 72 holes in one day is way too much golf for me. ------------------ "I look kind of dumpy. Look at my butt. And what kind of shoes do they have me wearing? I took lessons before I actually played my first 72 holes of golf. It was like a package that you payed for that included lessons, then 72 holes of golf afterwards. ------------------ "I look kind of dumpy. Look at my butt.
