Barkley was disappointing, but he did a great job of getting Houston coverage and attention from the media. He was also a big leader for Francis and Mobley. He was one of the most popular players on the Rockets. I didn't care for his style of play, but he did a good job. The Rockets should not retire Barkley's jersey, considering they never retired Elvin Hayes. The first 4 years he was with the Rockets, his stats dwarfed Barkley's Rocket stats. ------------------
What did Clyde do to deserve his jersey being retired? Played 2 years and helped win a championship?? When do we retire Cassell's and Horry's jersey if that's the case? Elie??
