TMac needs to suck it up and start being a man, I am tired of him trying to say something that JVG wants him to say..,,,I don't believe that crap about last season injury...I really don't....it's just something about him that I don't trust....He is only 27...wants to retire? I would bet if he gets traded next year his attitude would be 100% different....

Yao can not carry this team, even tho I wish he could make 30 points every game, I do not think he can be as dominant as MCGrady

TMac, has the size, the shot, the quickness and the court vision to take over the whole game, it's time TMac, wake the f up and bring a championship to Houston!

    Rowdies rock!

I was also very happy to have Charles call him out. I hope Tracy has a good second half and the Rockets win, because then he might do that post game interview with him where they talk to him from the studio. Then Charles can really get the message to him. :D

yeah me too, I love mac he is my favorite player but it's not just about him. I mean, it's his decision but he's letting the fans of Houston down.

Yes I wholly agree with what Barkley said about T-Mac.

Again, this team isn't going anywhere unless T-Mac plays like normal. He is an unbelievably talented all around player, not a point guard (even though he would be a great one).

We have him for his unreal talent and dominant scoring ability, not to run the point.

Hopefully T-Mac gets notified of what Barkley said and decides to do something.

Barkley was right about Yao not being able to make his teammates better like Shaq, Dream. He was ABSOLUTELY wrong about McGrady not being able to do it though. Tmac needs to find the passion again.

He wants to retire cuz he wants to try baseball.

I was thinking that he would go play like crazy on his 3rd year but since he still has plans to play baseball, it's not gonna happen. So what we see right now is pretty much the same in the next 3 years. What a selfish SOB.

    Yeah, I totally agree.

I think he is just trying to be a consumate teamate, but he needs to be aggressive to help this team.

Tonight he has been great, and making everyone else better.....THAT is what we need out of Tmac 24/7.

If he drove against San Antonio in the 4th quarter we would be talking about a six game winning streak.

Tmac....reach down and check that you still have a pair.

Normally, I hate when those TNT studio guys bash the Rockets, but I totally agreed with all of them about Yao and T-Mac.

He's only half right. McGrady can't settle for being a role player. He needs to play at a super-star level (or, as Battier would say, a "super-duper-star").

However, he doesn't have to do it just with scoring. He needs to be aggressive, and just make the right play. He needs to be the ultimate playmaker -- either finish it, or get someone else the easy basket.

Barkley being right is most certainly a oxymoron

So, are you guys now saying the team should revolve around Tracy instead of Yao? Which is it?

O well in 3 yrs tmac retires. And then dwyane wade's contract expires so we get flash here, if that fails lebron james' contract also expires so we use tmac's money and lure LBJ here that works too HAHA

Nah, Barkley is still wrong. Yao carried the team pretty good in the Dallas, Mavs and Heat win, while Tmac was sucking. He's allowed to have an off game now and again. Yao has come along way, where people consider a 20/12 night from him to be bad. :D
