Bank bomb kills Oregon police officer - sign of things to come?

Unbelievable. It's funny that people rest their hope, joy, and security in a system that can literally collapse in a day. It's like building your house on quick sand. It is sad, and this country is learning a hard lesson.

Not that I don't understand WHY people are built this way - it's how life works in our pathetic, greedy, individualistic society: go to school, get a good education, make a lot of money and shoot to climb the ladder. For many, that's what it's all about. No wonder people are shooting themselves when one step of the process fails. There's nothing else to live for.

I have a feeling a lot of people are missing out on better things while they're busy figuring out how to get to the top.

Americans have been brainwashed for years into thinking this way. That's why most of us put our heads in the sand even though it's obvious the ones in charge are ransacking whatever is left of our country, taking our liberties and rights away with them.
