Character has been around for over 20 years! Movie has been in production for over 2 years, way before anyone knew Romney would be the nominee.

And an entire Political Party follows this guy.

    Yep.
I for one don't subscribe to the "oh Rush is just an entertainer" line -- I think he's been an enormous factor in creating both the current national culture of political antagonism and also the growing national culture of embracing teh stupid (e.g. ignoring data and facts.)

How can Rush say "doing this show with half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair because I have talent on loan from . . . God" when he only have half a brain to began with?

Reporting live from North Carolina outside the home of Clutchfans poster and notorious Rush Limbaugh defender giddyup. I can confirm that he is currently eating a heartful breakfast and doing finger exercises in anticipation of a day-long defense of one beleaguered and helpless Rush Limbaugh. I can't say for certain, but believe I hear voice exercises coming from the house "liberal, back, slapping, cadre, liberal, back, slapping, cadre, liberal, back, slapping, cadre".

Bain Capital's Ties to Salvadoran Death Squads

Jon Wiener on July 19, 2012 - 1:55 PM ET

Some of the first investors in Mitt Romney’s firm Bain Capital, according to a report on the Los Angeles Times, were Salvadoran families living in Miami with members accused by the US government of funding death squads in the brutal civil war in El Salvador.

When Bain Capital was founded in 1984, Romney and his partners had trouble raising funds for their initial investments. “$9 million came from rich Latin Americans,” the Times reports, “including powerful Salvadoran families living in Miami.… At the time, U.S. officials were publicly accusing some exiles in Miami of funding right-wing death squads in El Salvador. Some family members of the first Bain Capital investors were later linked to groups responsible for killings.”

Doesn't Bain own a majority stake in AMC Theatres. Since like the mid 1990s I believe. Coincidently, around the same time ticket prices and concession started skyrocketing. Not to worry, they're gonna sell all their screens to the Chinese.

Not joking AMC is being sold to a Chinese conglomerate.
