My buddy and I were talking about bands with multiple lead singers this weekend and trying to think of as many as we could. Multiple lead singers in the band AT THE SAME TIME not at different times. So Van Halen wouldn't qualifiy. Also, they have to be LEAD singers, not just sing harmony. And rap doesn't count. Here are the ones I can think of: The Eagles ZZ Top (Dusty sang some songs) Journey (who sang Just The Same Way You Love Me? It wasn't Perry) Styx The Beatles Fleetwood Mac ELO ? Alice In Chains Earth Wind and Fire Who are some more?
The Clash Magnetic Fields The Velvet Underground I can't remember if Captain Sensible sang a couple of the Damned songs. Los Lobos The Kinks
Sonny & Cher Captain & Tenille Beach Boys (that's quite a can of worms, though) Allman Brothers Grateful Dead Heart Jan & Dean New Edition NKOTB N'Sync Destiny's Child Spice Girls The Partridge Family The Monkees The Bradys

already mentioned, but Sonic Youth is a great example. I think having 3 singers really helped them be more diverse. As a listener I have a slightly different expectation of the type of song, not just the singing when I know who the singer is. They've even featured singers from outside the band a few times. Spiderbait Smashing Pumpkins (Iha has done some) Nirvana? (Grohl on B-sides?) Not sure about this, but has Frusciante done anything for RHCP? I thought I remembered a RHCP song sung by him, but that could be me mixing it up with his solo career.
