Is coming in 2009, here is a great site for information. Link to good site about the series IMO, Band of Brothers is the best mini series ever made, and while not a direct sequel this is the same production company and great things are expected. Anyone else going to watch this? DD

I've been following production since they were in Australia most of last year. here are a couple other cool links. Warriors, Inc. , Capt. I've been waiting on this since I first heard about it a year or so ago. BoB and Earth to the Moon were both fantastic mini series that followed their cenema features. BoB is my favorite as well for both content and cenematogrophy. I only hope that Pacific captures the same.
there is a new slate of production beginning this very week in and around Los Angeles. There were delays in Australia based on the writers strike and the economic crunch. They didn't plan on this originally, and I heard that HBO might delay the release in order to make all their money back in the 2010 fiscal year. and on VooDooPope's line of thinking, it is good because they are fleshing out storylines and characters, going back and fine-tuning the plot.
Yeah I noticed they're starting to replay BoB to get everyone ready for "The Pacific". Between this, "Spartacus", and next year's "Song of Fire and Ice" my DVR will be getting even more of a workout.
