So what's the deal with Malick? Is he officially doing the Euro thing this year or is he atleast given a chance against the big boys?

well, I guess I got my answer. sometime today the rockets site removed his name from the roster list. guess he doesn't even get a chance. sucks. the guy might not have game yet, but i seriously think that his hussle alone would have been good for the camp.

    dwald,

Bad is being sent overseas for good reason. JVG feels, that at this point, Bad is better off getting major PT, in games and in practice, overseas.

With Mo, EG, Yao, Cato and J-Chi, there is almost no opportunity for a raw player to see significant time on the court.

One other point, and this might be the main reason why he is not here (and CBA experts, if I am wrong, feel free to correct me), is that Bad is not under contract, and therefore, can not even be in camp. If we were to sign him just so he could compete in camp, he would almost have to stay with us the whole season. That also means if we were to send him overseas at the end of camp, we would have to release him (I dont think FIBA allows a player to be under contract in two different leagues), thus allowing him to become a FA.
