Uh oh, Colangelo must also want Alexander. For Sacramento and Indiana, would a healthy Aaron Brooks be more tempting than TJ Ford or an unproven Augustin? (I think Westbrook will be picked in the top 10.)

I had no idea that age 28 made Mike Miller an aging shooter.

There is that thing where most guards in the NBA rapidly decline when they reach 30.

I don't think Brooks will be more tempting than Augustin.I don't think the Kings or the Pacers want T.J. Ford but I don't see either of them giving up their lottery picks for Aaron Brooks.

Who posted his career best scoring averages at ages 30 and 31.

Shooters can be pretty effective late into their careers. Reggie Miller was putting up 19 a game at age 35.

Are people still mad at Morey for not drafting Tiago Splitter? Tiago could very well turn into another Scola situation for the San Antonio Spurs.

If Splitter re-signs with Tau it'll be like another Fran Vasquez scenario. Not lottery but still a waste of a first rounder. Rockets dodged a bullet for not selecting him if that happens.

Does that mean Morey will have to find a b****y Greek guard in about 4 years so we can trade for Splitter?

A healthy Aaron Brooks is almost as unproven as Augustine. Let's not forget the guy didn't log a ton of minutes, not enough to be considered proven anyway.

i dont want to speak for the OP - but im pretty sure its bad news that
the Grizzlies aren't going to part with Miller for a bag of peanuts.

though i think we realised that already when they tryed for Scola.

On the Spurs forum it's being reported that Splitter signed a 2 year extension with Tau, for 8x more money than the Spurs could offer him. Spurs fans that thought Splitter/Duncan was better than Scola/Duncan are leaping off cliffs now :)

Blazers declined the offer, not the Grizzlies.
