i've seen many threads about the need for a backup SG and whether or not Torres can fill that position, i've seen a couple about Russell from the Jazz fitting perfectly, i was looking at who was a free agent SG, what about Starks? he's a unrestricted free agent and i'm sure he wont cost that much, he's kinda old and a streaky shooter tho, see game 7 of the 94 finals, just a thought, any comments? thoughts? who else would be interesting if the rockets dont keep oscar? thanks

We can give the ball to Terence Morris if we need somebody to go 2 for 18 from the field...

I don't know about Starks. On the one hand, he's a vet and he would be inexpensive. But on the other, he's getting up there and I didn't personally see enough of him to know what he's got left in the tank. Torres is younger and even cheaper than Starks so I guess I would be more inclined to just keep OT and see if he can develop more and become more consistent.

The Rockets have already gotten their use out of Starks. He handed the Rockets the championship in 1994. John, you've served your purpose for the greater good of Houston. What a man!

Starks has been tainted by the Utah Jazz. Plus, at any moment, he might suddenly go all psycho on Rudy for the '94 Finals (see: 2x4 to the head). Pass.

If this thread wasn't a joke, it should have been.

starks on the team wouldn't work out, but having russell would

be a nice fit. and put some more depth into our team.

but he played for utah. so i wouldn't sign him.

    ever. ha!
