Four months off, two back surgeries, a killer two week vacation, and one wonderful summer spent with the family is over. In 10 minutes, I have to walk out the door, get in the truck, and head to work. Bummer. On the plus side, I'm gonna regain my posting form this weekend. Look out, BBS!
Behad, how were the back surgeries? I've been thinking about having one after putting it off for years. My leg is getting weaker and weaker.
Best thing I could have done. My left leg was causing me so much pain, in addition to the lower back pain, that I had to do something. It's been like night and day. I'm still not fully recovered, and I have some stiffness and soreness in my back muscles, but those will go away with time and physical therapy.
For those who have a separate work email address, you might enjoy this: after being off work for four months, I returned to an inbox with 820 unread emails....loads of fun.
The problem with that is 10% or so that I need to read (including the good jokes!). The rest are disappearing as fast as possible.
Ugh...I forgot how utterly boring this board is at this time at night. Come on people, it's my first night back. Somebody post something interesting!
The late night quality has been great in your absence Bahed, I'm sure you can only help lower the standard. good to see you back at work or as homer says rest time!!!! btw my girls had their last game of the season last night won by 5, we finished tied for third and have to play the same team from last night in the knockout final next week.
Welcome back Behad. Glad your surgery went well. Homer: "Carpal tunnel syndrome"...no. "Lumber lung"...no. "Juggler's despair"...no. "Achy breaky pelvis"...no. Oh, I'm never going to be disabled! I'm sick of being so healthy. they should let you work from home Homer: [reading screen] "To Start Press Any Key". Where's the ANY key? I see Esk ["ESC"], Catarl ["CTRL"], and Pig-Up ["PGUP"]. There doesn't seem to be any ANY key. Woo! All this computer hacking is making me thirsty. I think I'll order a TAB. [presses TAB key] Awp...no time for that now, the computer's starting. [reading screen slowly] "Check core temperature, yes slash no." [types] Yes. "Core temperature normal." Hmph. Not too shabby. "Vent radioactive gas." [types] NO. "Venting prevents explosi-on." Heeheee...whoa, this is hard. Where's my Tab?
