First off, no I am not getting married, nor do I plan to any time soon. I still have too much pimpin', living and growing up to do! Now that we have that matter out of the way, for the married people of the BBS, did you have a bachelor party? What did you do to celebrate your last days of the single life? Did your future wife to be approve or disapprove of you having one(describe the situation)? For the single folks, those of you who have married friends that had bachelor parties, did your significant other agree or disagree with you going(assuming you went, describe the situation)?
Got married about 3.5 years ago. Didn't have a bachelor party. My best man wanted to throw one but I declined. Not the sort of thing I'd be interested in. If I had suggested it, I'm sure my wife would have strongly objected.
I just got together with a bunch of friends, went out to eat and saw the worst movie in the history of film: Showgirls! It was hilarious because we were cracking jokes throughout the whole movie. There was only one couple in the theater besides us and they were laughing right along with us. That was it. I know of people who have crazy bachelor parties or go to strip clubs. Just not my style at all! My friend told me about one he went to where the guy getting married and his father got lap dances (plus) at the same time while sitting next to each other. All I have to say is... EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Of course, the guy's wife went to Mexico with a bunch of girlfriends and "sowed their oats" as well if you know what I mean. Doesn't sound like a particularly good way to get the marriage started.
Oh man, I had a huge blow-out of a bachelor party!! It was a surprise (my wife knew, however) party thrown by my brother and friends. We had all the good stuff...movies, drinks, drugs, and a surprise stripper. She came to the door dressed as a cop. I was thrown off guard by the cop uniform for a minute as she accused me of a hit-and-run accident. The guys behind me were all smoking pot and I was trying to get them to shut the f*** up about it, until she said "I guess I'm just gonna have to come in and give you your punishment right here!" And she did It was a bachelor party I'll never forget!
I'm leaving the offic ein about 15 minutes to head to the airport. 5 of us are off to Vegas for a bachelor party (not mine thank god!)! Lot of strippers and maybe a brothel or two! Later!
just got back from one in Vegas a few months ago. Did you know they have totally nude strippers who can put both ankles behind their necks? It's quite a site to behold. You'd think a Vegas bachelor party would be pretty wild, but actually......that's the only one I've been too that I can comfortably talk about.
For my "bachelor party" I opted for a Deep Sea fishing trip. I got married when I was 32 and had been to many of my friends bachelor parties so I kind felt like I had "been there, done that". Still wanted to have a good time with friends, though. Unfortunatly it got rained out! A friend of mine got married about two years before me and did the whole strip bar thing. Around midnight most of the party wanted to go home! They were tired and tired of spending money on lap dances for the groom. When he complained we told him that this is what he gets for waiting until he was thirty to get married.
Mine was at Rick's. The guy who introduced me to my wife was "dating" a dancer there at the time while he was still married to my soon-to-be's best friend. Very, very weird. My brother-in-law dragged my 60+ year old father in there and everybody insisted that he have somebody dance for him. EEEEWWWWW doesn't even begin to cover that little scene! My wife knew and she was cool about it. She trusted me.
