The jump-stop move @2:18 was incredible for a center.

The infamous (most infamous, rather) move he puts on Robinson at 5:05 is rarely shown from that angle. It's unfortunate, because that wide angle really shows how much of an isolation play it was. A freaking center going iso on the MVP from the corner 3 point line. Think about that for a second.

Yeah, it's amazing how Hakeem would destroy guys on iso. He did the same to Ewing wit that spin dunk.

I love how everyone at the TC goes nuts EVERY time they show that move on Robinson before the game.

Geez there are two clips where Mutombo plays incredible smothering defense on Hakeem and Hakeem just fakes forward and spins baseline for an 'easy' jumper.

Hakeem made the damn impossible look so effortless.

The dunk at 2:13 and 2:39 were sick, one the 2:13 mark it looks like he dunks on 3 celtics, amazing. At 2:39 its insane how he gets past that double team then dunks on a third defender. SICK! Thanks for sharing.

I believe that was a double-team of Larry Bird / Kevin McHale, and then he dunked on Robert Parish. Not bad when you can beat three of the greatest players in NBA history on one play.

That jump stop was really incredible...not just to be able to stop immediately and change direction, but he had great lateral explosion after the stop.

Has there ever been any reports about Dream's work outs? I just realize i dont think ive ever heard much, other than playing soccer and obvious stuff like cardio/running. I can't remember ever seeing him lift or doing anything else.

Proof that if Michael Jordan was King, Hakeem Olajuwon was God.

Hakeem's baseline spin/fade jumper might be the most unguardable jumper I've ever seen. It's also got to be up there with Kareem's sky hook for most unguardable shot period.

It really is unbelievable how Hakeem could do practically anything he wanted to on offense. I mean, they could iso the guy at the 3-point line and he'd still be able to score at the rim with ease. Then you try to play off him.. fine, he'll sink the jumper from 20 feet out.

And regardless of whether or not you are in position to make a play on him, he almost always had a counter to whatever you were doing.

There may not be another player quite like him in a long, long time.
