Avery Johnson was left off of Dallas' playoff roster. I understand that this is because Dallas is exploding with talent but do you see Avery Johnson in Dallas' plans next season? I guess it depends on what ends up happening with Nick VanExel. Avery Johnson could be just the kind of guy for us to pick up that would really help Steve tap his potential. If Dallas lets him go, we should nab him as quick as we can.

    Agreed!

trade Moochie and sign Johnson to a 2 year deal. He lives in Houston anyway, right?

    Keep Tierre

I agree with lpbman. But no one would be foolish enough to take Moochie off of our hands at his current price. If you can find someone, they'd probably take Rice, too. :)

I agree but there's a major snag - AJ Is still under contract to the Mavs for 2 more seasons at 4,991,800 and $5,445,600 respectively. Since the Rocks will be over the cap, any trade for Moochie (to clear room for AJ) would probably have to include either TMo or KT. I just don't see that happening.

bradley shouldve been left off but nellie still sees potential in him.... avery would not have played, and he is injured as well. im pretty sure he is signed through next yr too, so a trade would have to be worked out.

Price is no matter to Cuban. He'd probably eat Collier's small contract for salary(remember, option at the end of next year for him) if it'd improve his team. Moochie is a better talent than Avery, but Avery would be a wonderful influence on our backcourt, not to mention break up the "clique". I'd make that move.

AJ was left off the Mavs playoff roster because he is hurt. Otherwise, I think they would prefer his leadership over Bradley's razor sharp elbows.

Greg Anthony would have been great for the Rockets, but instead they signed Moochie Norris.

That should give you some idea about how "overpriced" Moochie is. I don't think he is getting a lot for a guy who gets minutes. Mostly it is just a long contract.

Ditto. AJ was one of my favorite players and he's the only Mav I can stand now.

i still gots love for the raefster. he was pure class and even though he dissappointed me on the court more than once (more like twice!), i still wish him well.

Price is no matter to Cuban.

    true

He'd probably eat Collier's small contract for salary if it'd improve his team.

this is true too, but would collier make the mavs better???? i doubt it, but that may also be due to the fact that he just sits on the pine for the majority of the game.

Moochie is a better talent than Avery, but Avery would be a wonderful influence on our backcourt, not to mention break up the "clique". I'd make that move.

you would, i prob would, most people would except for the mavs.... van exel is the #2 pg on the mavs that puts mooch at #3 and he has too big of a contract to take on for a #3 pg.... cuban is rich and will take on money but he is also smart and knows when to not make a deal
