Count me in. http://www.nbc.com/Average_Joe/ Here's info on the chick: A native of Gladstone, Missouri, Scantlin is a former cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs and continues to serve as the team’s live entertainment announcer during games. She also hosts the Chiefs Trivia segment at Arrowhead Stadium, where she interviews fans with fun questions about their home team. She recently served as co-host of regional Dodge Race Day telecasts, covering NASCAR events. Though she traveled to New York in her youth to work as an actress and model, Scantlin remained near home to attend college in Kansas City at Park University. There, she graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Theory and Human Relations. Scantlin was named an All-American Scholar, earned placement on The National Dean’s List and was recognized by Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. In high school, Scantlin represented her home state in the Miss Teen USA pageant as Miss Missouri. Later, while attending college, Scantlin was a cheerleader for the Chiefs until she gave that up to focus on her participation in the Miss USA pageant during her senior year. Scantlin originally caught the eye of “Average Joe” producers eye when she appeared on another NBC reality show, “Meet My Folks.” While she continues to work with the Chiefs, Scantlin currently divides her time between Kansas City and Los Angeles, where she is pursuing a career in Sports Entertainment. Scantlin also enjoys volunteering for the Fox 4 Love Fund For Children. Her birthday is December 4.
Seemed worthy of atleast one viewing sometime... that is, until I saw Kathy Griffin was involved. No to Joe!
Anyone remember the Dice Clay rant about how women comediennes just aren't funny? She fits that category. I don't think she'll be the reason if this show is bad or not. Most of the hosts on these shows have minimal parts.
Screw Average Joe. Oh, wait...I think that's what all those average Joes really want! I'm watching the Rockets destroy da Bullz tonight.
I'd rather watch a game that the Rockets lose to the Jazz by 50 during which Steve and Yao both tear their ACLs than watch any of that reality TV that the networks are upchucking upon us...
