    Pweeeeeez Clutch...

Just like Jazzfanz. And it helps to identify members. Real small too like 75X75 just over the username.

Avatars are the worst idea in the history of internet message boards. Well, maybe second worse behind allowing people to have images in their signatures. I applaud clutch for not allowing avatars. This board stands out because it look so crisp and clean.

We need avatars like Karl Malone needs paternity suits.

I don't have a problem with tiny avatars, maybe 40x40. It's signature pictures that make messageboards look like crap and break up the flow.

Agreed. The thing is, I don't like the idea of giving people another opportunity to be crude. They are bad enough by what they type.

And this is a family show ;)

I don't mind avatars as long as it is uniformed. Sometimes it's a way(for me anyway) to get to know a poster a little better.

I'd be happy with Blade Runner. With 200,000,000 members, the avatars would get pretty rediculous, I bet. Anyway, far past time to send the money I promised to Clutch. All I care about is that he keeps the BBS going. I don't know how the heck he does it!

    (Random Hearts wasn't that bad! :p )

If we have those, it will be almost impossible to browse while at work. As it is, the board looks sort of like work from a distance... avatars would ruin that. If it were up to me, instead of avatars, there'd be an option to turn off the smilies choices on the Reply to Thread page... they ruin the clean "work" look.

Actually I like this forum because you can't put images in signatures and you can't have your own avatar

Why? Because it makes the board easier to read.

Please no avatars. It just makes the BBS more cluttered.

I even turned off the normal signatures. All i want to see is the posts. not the same signature over and over again.

I don't like to be compared to Jazz/Lakers fans, and THEY have avatars.
