Lexus' new design choice is baffling. Stingray Vette looks badass. Infiniti staying very sharp and crisp and smooth. Wonder how it will be priced, especially given they are going with a V6 standard with seemingly a lot of nice bells and whistles?
Looks like the Vette took some styling designs from the Europeans. Looks very clean, not really a fan of the four close exhausts though, but it's still one of the best looking Vette's ever just from a first look imo. Any pics of the interior? Curious to see if it's still the cheap GM look. LOL @ the Lexus. So nasty looking up front. The Infinity looks like every other car on the road now. Seems every car manufacture had the same design team these past couple of years. Meh.
True, but it looks like one of the better versions of that look. Moreover, its a real smooth nice looking design. If they're copying an underlying design theme, I'd argue that (1) it's a good one to copy, (2) it's one that probably has a lot of its roots in the Infiniti designs of the past decade plus (look at an 03 g series), and (3) their version of it here is a really nice version of it
The Lexus is horrible, the Infiniti is a clear ripoff of BMW and the Vette is the new Camaro elongated (not a bad thing).
Lexus unveiling is tomm at 830am. I hope the regular IS has a better front end than the F Sport pics I posted.
I like the front end of the C7, I like the drastic styling, especially how it flows into the interior - those seats. This version looks more like a stingray than any of the old models and it gives it more of unique look as opposed to one inspired by the old design. But man... It's Corvette. You cant look to the past, you've got to innovate. A stingray should be a separate, highly exclusive model IMO, not the flagship. Then they screw with the iconic rear lights after screwing with the iconic headlights (C6)... risky move man, looks like a Camaro from the back now, 85% Camaro, 15% homage to the C4. Meh. I'd love this model if the rear lights held onto the old look, that look was actually more futuristic than this muscle car looking one. Also prefer the exhaust be spread but no biggie. The aggressive, wide stingray-ey look though, that's cool. Not sure if people should be more excited about this model or the fact that the C6 is going to be cheaper and already performs great.
The vette looks cool with all that copy cat design stolen from other cars and hopefully it can drive straight this time around lol. Too many vettes on youtube losing control taking off in a straight away I prefer the viper over the new vette Interior design is a huge step up from the previous vettes Big pictures Spoiler Looks like the new viper from the front and a gtr vent on the side and camero back. So the only thing that resemble the vette is the top lol
That interior is pretty slick, although I hate the fake carbon fiber pieces. Love the way the cockpit faces the driver, too. What's the expected price range and HP on this one? I might need a new toy, just need to mind **** the wife into agreeing.
Door handle is also in the wrong place, on top makes sense here. Good call on the GTR vent, it actually looks like there's a panel of GTR in that car.
The infiniti looks like a combination of a Jaguar (grill and hood), Lexus (accents and lighting), and BMW (rear end). And I mean that in a very complimentary way.
Haha it reminds me of a King of the Hill episode where Hank goes "Fine, everybody’s a Texan. Change planes in Dallas, you’re a Texan." This new arbitrary number assignment of 50-80 is pretty ridiculous though. I didn't realize they revealed all these changes last month. The new Vette rear end looking like a camaro is spot on too. I did a double take.
lol. I've been following commentary about some of these cars since many of them were leaked last week. The Lexus IS was already "pre-announced" by Lexus. If you're on a Lexus forum, everybody seems to love it. If you're not on a Lexus forum, 95% of the people think Lexus designers have lost their mind. lol. Someone said the Vette looks like a Camaro trying to mate with a Ferrari.... and they're kind of right. Still looks good, though. I'm kind of intrigued by the Q50 since I've been waiting for the unveil. I like the interior from what I can tell - especially the use of the double-screens. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the exterior, though. In some pics it looks slick, but in others it looks deformed. The two US engine choices seem solid, though. Can't wait to hear what the pricing is like. Most people seem to have a problem with the naming convention. I couldn't care less, to be honest.
