I did not watch the game and only heard it in passing on the radio here in Australia. Our Ex-Rocket, David Andersen, hit the game winning shot. Good on him. Wish him well in Toronto.

Did anyone see this game? I don't know if it was televised anywhere.

Did Bogut play? Probably not huh. I doubt he's even gonna be ready by the start of the season.

Haha, if Bogut was playing, Andersen wouldn't have hit the game winning shot. He'd be polishing Bogut's shoes.

Bogut didn't play and he won't play in the World Championship either. Australia was an intriguing team for the WC with a good mix of veterans and youth. Without Bogut, they'll have trouble matching up with bigger teams and they may be outmatched.

On a (somewhat) related note, China and Canada play a WC tune-up tomorrow night. A battle between two countries with one major basketball star who won't be playing.

In a serious note, I think it'll be an interesting matchup. Both teams are not quite ready for prime time in terms of world basketball supremacy, but both teams have some talent.

If Brett Brown makes the right selections. These two players will be Australia's starting PF & C:
