DV, welcome to Austin during the Astros' season...I don't think it's on. If it is, I'm defintiely down.
I don't think it's on regular cable or direct TV, but it does appear to be on the MLB Extra Innings package. Now, whether that's blacked out here or not, I have no idea. Also, DV -- the Astros game is at 4pm, I think. If it's on, we'll be at Aussies (or somewhere) watching it.
I figured it might be the case, but I definitely want to watch the games-i could make it at 4 anyways since i get out of class at 2:45. That's a pretty big mistake on Austin's part not to show Astros games period, if so. As if I wanted the Rangers shoved down my throat.
You'll get most of the Astros games. We're in the Astros media-coverage area (as opposed to the Rangers) and Austin is the Astros' #2 market (Houston being first, obviously). At least for the last several years, FOXSW has all of their games, except when the Spurs trump them. The KNEWS games in Houston have mostly been on either KVC 13 or CNNSI. Hopefully that will continue to be the case this year. The opener is just odd because it's a weekday day game.
That's good major. It makes sense for Austin to show Astros games, seeing how they are much further from Dallas than Houston.
Some channels to check: Fox SW, KVC, Time Warner 77, and KBEJ. It's free preview week for MLB Extra Innings so anyone with satellite or digital cable will be able to get it as long as its not blacked out. No TV is bad. No radio is even worse. Fortunately 740 has a strong enough signal to reach Austin cause The Zone sucks.

You were talking big last Thursday though JBII...wuss. Just a heads up, Aussies may not have the game on. It seems as if I remember them not having the games that were on this special Time Warner station. There's also a very likely chance that I have no clue what I'm talking about either.
DV, I'm just going to be there around 4...if they don't have it, we can figure something out. Everyone else, this is double header day. Only the strong can and will survive. Astros/Brewers followed nearly immediately by Rockets/Sonics. Show me what you're made of.
