Croshere doesn't suck. But he does need a team that utilizes him well. And gettinbranded has been a pretty reasonable poster. I don't remember the identity of the troll mentioned here; but let's not start something. ------------------
Why the HELL would we want Croshere? Don't we already have enough forwards? ------------------ Protrolls.com! Keep the ???? alive! The ZRBucks!
Aside from his obvious Krause-colored glasses... gettinbranded isn't such a bad guy... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
Honestly, I wasn't tryin to start sh*t.. I was tryin to remember the nick of that bulls fan that came in raisin hell...you guys know I dont spend as much time in here as you do..therefor I miss some stuff (such as gettinbranded turnin out to be ok) I may just remember the initial impression I had. nothing more. ------------------ This space for rent
If we got Croshere then Taylor would be gone. They are both around the same level of talent. ------------------ "banging Shaq is a whole different expirience"-Pete Babcock Behold the power of quotation
Say what?!?! Croshere is not as good as MoTaylor. In fact, I would say not even close. Mo is a solid Western Conference power forward that would get sigficantly better stats if he played in the Eastern Conference. Croshere is too slow to guard West. Conf. SFs, and not tough enough to bang with West. Conf. PFs. ------------------
I remember seeing Mo Taylor as a rookie and thinking is gonna be a excellent player then I saw him as a Rocket, last year, he looked slow and soft. Austin can't guard very good SF or PF of the West, but he is an excellent 3 point shooter, attacks the basket, and very scrappy. Now I haven't seen Taylor like the Rocket fans have, but they seem to be two very different players. Taylor seems to have a pretty good low post game, a very nice medium range jumper, and good low post defender. Austin seems to be more aggressive and (gasp) athletic with more range. Where did this pipedream of Lafrenz to Houston come from? We aren't ever going to get him unless we offer him some insane amount of money when he becomes a free agent. ------------------
Thank you, kublai. Now let us never speak this nonsense about LaFrentz again. No more KT + Walt for Raef. No more picks + Cato, and for the love of God, no Croshere for LaFrentz. I understand that this summer is boring, but the Nugs aren't just going to GIVE us LaFrentz- drafted ahead of Vince, Jamison and Pierce. ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
Well, considering the reports out of Houston, this probably isn't true...but Indiana was hoping to add Brad Miller and ship Austin out in a sign and trade for the Dream... ------------------ [This message has been edited by gettinbranded (edited July 30, 2001).]
Straight up! Man, that gives me goose bumps! Not a chance, or not at least on this world. ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.
Dream for Croshere and B. Miller? How can that work cap wise? We have to throw in Walt and maybe S&T Shandon. Any cao experts out there? ------------------ "It's always hard to lead from the front." -Colin Montgomerie on his trouble of staying on top of the leaderboard at the 2001 British Open
The Bulls are in talks with the Pacers to swap Brad Miller to them for Travis Best and Al Harrington. Isaiah Thomas believes he's a true center (Miller) and Strickland (their exception) away from challenging for the East. If the Pacers obtain Miller and Strickland, reports say, they will then seek to move Austin Croshure -anywhere- to avoid paying the luxury tax. Houston was the prime destination mentioned. I havn't ran the numbers---just passing along what I've read and heard on the radio here in Chi-town. ------------------
