    Can one, or some, of the many posters living in Austin recommend a good auto mechanic? I have a Saturn and my wife has a Toyota.

    I posed the same question almost 4 years ago when I moved to Austin. Man, I can't believe it's been that long already. Anyway, DoD suggested Klingmanns and so do I.

    I have had good experiences with Dave's Ultimate Automotive on Howard, but I'd concede to others who may have more experience in this area.

    For the Toyota go to Dealership Alternative, they just moved to N Lamar, specialize in Honda & Toyota and are hands down the best and most honest mechanics in town
