I'll be there. I went to the one at the park formerly known as Enron Field 3 years ago. There were over 20,000 people at that tour stop.
I've been to all three Houston tour stops and I've been hoping for a fourth, but one in Austin will do. I've got a friend there who's already got an outlook for ducats! We should have a designated cc.net tailgate section. BTW...no tour stop can top the first Houston one at SRO....OUTSIDE SUCKS!!!
Any word on where we can get tickets? I am definitley in for the road trip. See you clones in Austin!
Keep checking jimrome.com. I'm sure they'll have info on where you can pick up tickets. Also, you might wanna check the website of the Austin affiliate that's handling the tour stop. I found the link. Hopefully, you can also get tickets in the mail, cuz I don't plan on driving to Austin just to pick them up. http://www.sportsradio1300.com/drops.html Ok, according to Autozone.com, there are gonna be ticket drops in H-Town. Here's the link. http://www.premiereradio.com/sweeps/autozone/stop.html

I didn't go to his live show at Enron Field a couple of years back, but apparently there was a huge turnout.
I've got my tickets (or the passes to exchange them for tickets), had to wait an hour and 15 minutes. Now I expect a big CC.gathering. Especially you, Pimp, DD and RM95. To get tickets, you need to show up an hour and a half early at these drops, maybe even longer. Can't wait for the tailgate!!
Dell Diamond is literally right down the street from me. And yeah, it is definitely Round Rock, not Austin, but most people who don't live in Texas won't realize that. Anyway, I'm thinking about going, but that's also the weekend I'm going up to Dallas to see the Cowboys-Falcons game. So, if I'm able to get a ticket for the tour stop, I'll probably try to go. I don't have a lot of free time right now to go waiting around for a ticket, but if I find a spot close to me, I might try to get up there and snag one. Maybe we can all meet up somewhere, then. I would say meet at my place, but it's a tiny ass 1 bedroom apartment! One more thing, does anyone know how many tix they have for each drop? If you weren't there CRAZY early, would you still have a chance at getting the ticket??
junglerules, when I went to the ticket drop at Academy (the Brodie/290 Location in Austin), they gave out 75 pairs. Now, the 1300 website says it's only one ticket per person, but I am not sure that is the case for all of the ticket drops.
While it won't be an official "tour stop" I'm guessing he'll be back for the Super Bowl and All-Star games next year.
Thanks, I appreciate it. Good to know that they were handing out pairs, although that might not be the case everywhere. My best bet is to try to get them on the 16th up at the dell diamond, as they'll have a couple of drops there. Otherwise, I'll have to try to venture down to Austin with the little spare time I have, or maybe try to snag some in Georgetown, where I work. Anyway, like I said, maybe we can all meet up somewhere. I sure hope, by some miracle, it's not so freaking hot then. It's been at or above 100 for about a week now, and it's supposed to stay like that the rest of this week. Ughhh.
