Do any of you Austinites out there know of a good place online to look for a rental house in Austin. I've been looking on Craig's List and found some decent stuff, just wondering where else I should be looking. I like Craig's List because they have pictures. In other news, I'm looking for someone to sublet/ finish out my wife's lease on an apartment on E William Cannon (between 35 and Congress). 440/ month, one bedroom, dishwasher, pool all the stuff that comes with living in a complex...
I know a guy who lives in that area and his wife is in real estate, but I couldn't tell you how to get a hold of her. All I know is her last name is Kendrick... Although google is your friend. You can find a lot of stuff from google.
Actually, we're looking to rent more centrally than that. We're looking to get rid of the one in that area. (Not that its a bad area, its not. We just want to live closer to campus and the capitol).
Austin Chronicle.... Best way honestly is to drive around the area you want, write down some phone numbers of the places renting, and call 'em up. Good luck!
