Damn. That's almost twice as much as it was last year. I'm guessing it's because of the 3rd day added. I had a good time last year. The weather is a lot more tolerable. Can't really tell you if it's worth it, though.
Have tickets. The added cost is for the third day and the bands keep getting bigger and better. I've only missed one of these so far (due to my son's birth). See y'all in November...
it depends on what kind of music you are into - funfunfun, for lack of a better term, is the indie-rock version of acl - basically, the red river scene turned into an outdoor festival. one stage is dedicated to punk, one to dance, laptop and danicer music, two main stages for the more typical 'indie' rock and a 5th that is basically a potpourri (comedy, local bands, ect). its a well run event overall (so is acl, imo). just bought my 3 day pass - this is the best line-up yet!
