I don't have any good ideas, because I'm a broke fool with no money for anything other than Ramen, beer, and condoms. But you can try and see if the Buffet Palace delivers...it was named the best buffet place in Austin like 3 years in a row now. It's pretty good from what I hear...and if you live in the area, its at Lamar and 183 in some shopping center parking lot.

Other than that, you could try www.longhorndelivery.com and see what they have to offer in the way of Chinese. They'll pick up food from several different places and bring it to you for a small charge.
EDIT: Longhorndelivery will hook it up on some Thai Noodles, Etc which is pretty good actually. I've eaten there once and enjoyed it. Here's the direct link:

    haven,

Austin sucks for decent Chinese, but PF CHanges isn't bad at all. I wonder if they deliver? I know they have an outdoor pick-up (at least at the North one).

I think I remember China on the Avenue doing delivery, but downtown only.

IMHO, the only Chinese that is close to "yummy" in Austin is T&S Seafood, but it's a dive, and it's pretty far up N. Lamar (near Rundberg).

Fortunately for me, I escaped the restaurant wasteland of Austin and moved to Chicago recently -- lots of great restaurants within walking distance, and they all seem to deliver too. But I think Houston's Chinatowns are better than Chicago's. (Off on a tangent again...)
