Twelve years ago today the world lost one of the greatest, modern blues ambassadors to a tragic helocopter accident, just a reminder to you all. Rest in Peace Stevie Ray. . . .

    R.I.P. SRV...

I remember the day it happened. I called my best bud who introduced me to SRV, he already knew. It was a sad day in the music world. The other sad thing is that he had already sobered up and was on the upswing... the man is missed.

I remember when I heard the news as well. I couldn't get out of bed for a week. RIP, SRV.

I stopped what I was doing and couldn't stop shaking my head in disbelief after I heard the news of his death on the radio. Very sad day indeed.:(

Every time I hear 'Little Wing' I get melancholy thinking of the day.
