I also didn't want to just PM, because other people (macalu is one I remember) had questions about this too. Anyway, I just happened to exit Edgebrook today on my way home from work and noticed that there is a sign on the median underneath the overpass now that indicates a turn is LEGAL from the 2 left-most lanes. There were still construction barrels out there. The sign looked sort of like this... Like I said, I couldn't find the thread so maybe you already knew this, but I wanted to make sure. Figured it might help you get out of your ticket.
man, i already went to court for it. i paid 103 for court fees. im taking defensive driving. when i made that turn, i didnt recall seeing go straight only sign. i know there is usually a turn left, and turn left or go straight lane. about two weeks ago, i finally saw a sign that says go straight only. im going to go punch that cop.
i got the same ticket, i went to the same spot like a week after and saw a sign only with the left lane turning.
