Would they have been a legit contender the last few years if they had taken CP3 or Deron instead of Marvin Williams in 06? That backcourt would've been hectic and I think Johnson would've played a lot better with less attention.
This subject has been beaten to death here. Now nobody cares anymore because it's been so long. Marvin Williams is the Hawks version of Greg Oden, though it isn't quite that bad.
Wouldn't any team become a contender with CP3 or D-Will? Hawks are currently 16-10 without either of those two. Pretty sure they'd be even better with them.
