Can one say that the falling Rockets possibly might have 46-36 by seasons end. What position in the Playoffs will this get us?

The West is too deep. The 8th seed may have to have at least 50 wins to make it or pretty close to 50 wins.

Some of us in chat did have to chuckle when they flashed the stat that the Rockets are the most improved team in the NBA in terms of record. Of course they still play stupid, but hey... :)

This team will not be as good in the second half because Yao Ming has already hit the wall. He is exhausted.

Without having him as a primary option, they will revert to old form, and will be lucky to have anywhere near as good of a record in the second half of the season.

Minnesota will be better and so will the Lakers, leaving the Rockets as the odd men out.

They will not make the playoffs and they will lose their lottery pick for next year as well. Not a good combination.
